How we handle your information

Data we collect

• Information you submit through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), postcode (optional), service type and the message you write.
• Your IP address and a coarse timestamp, used briefly to rate-limit the form and reject abusive submissions.
• Anonymous, aggregate page-view counts and Core Web Vitals via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. No cookies are set and no cross-site identifiers are collected.

We do not run advertising trackers, social pixels or session-replay tools.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote (legitimate interest / pre-contract).
• To prevent automated abuse of the contact form (legitimate interest in network and information security).
• To understand which parts of the site work and where people drop off, so we can improve it (legitimate interest).

Where it is stored

Contact submissions are stored in our Supabase database, hosted in the EU (Ireland / London region). Email notifications are delivered via Resend. Vercel hosts the website itself and processes anonymous usage telemetry.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. Rate-limit records are kept for at most 24 hours. Anonymous analytics is retained according to Vercel’s standard policy.

Cookies

We do not set any tracking or advertising cookies. The website may set a small number of strictly-necessary cookies (for example to maintain the admin session for staff). Vercel Analytics uses no cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it or stop using it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@t-electricalservices.co.uk. We aim to respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
